Why should we have daylight saving time?
More daylight also could mean more outdoor exercise (or exercise at all) for full-time workers. The nominal reason for daylight saving time has long been to save energy.
Advantages of Daylight Saving time:
1. There’s more light to enjoy in the evening.
What’s better: Only a fleeting moment of daylight before work (and driving home in the dark) or being able to enjoy the daylight well into the evening hours? That’s what we thought. More light = more time to do what you want or need to do = a happier you.
2. The crime rate drops during daylight saving time.
Research has shown that robbery rates after daylight saving time fall an average of 7 percent, with a much larger 27 percent drop during those light-filled evening hours that didn’t exist before the time change. Mind. Blown.
3. It minimizes energy consumption (and lowers your costs).
When you enjoy more natural daylight, you use less artificial light — and that makes a real impact on the overall cost of energy consumption.
4. It lowers the incidence of traffic accidents.
Like driving home in the daylight versus the darkness, driving is easier when you can see your surroundings and where you’re going, right? Duh! Studies actually show that we could save hundreds of lives per year if we implemented daylight saving time year-round.
5. Light is one of those objects that helps us feel safer. We may leave our house lights on at night or while we’re away. We may also decorate our landscape with additional fixtures to help light up our homes, all in an effort to help us feel safer.
Why shouldn't we have daylight saving time?
There are individual health concerns. Switching to Daylight Saving Time is associated with cardiovascular morbidity, a higher risk of a heart attack or stroke, and an increase in hospital admissions for irregular heartbeats. It is not good for your health as it goes against your body's circadian rhythm that helps regulate your sleep-wake cycle.
Disadvantages of Daylight Saving time:
1.People are unusually sleepy on the following Monday.
2.Increase in heart attack risk on the following Monday.
3.Initial spike in traffic accidents in the first week of daylight saving time.
4.Some people never adjust to time change resulting in decreased quality of life and health issues.
5.The time change can make people sick.

Read "Evening" by Paul Laurence Dunbar.
"Evening"
The moon begins her stately ride
Across the summer sky;
The happy wavelets lash the shore,—
The tide is rising high.
Beneath some friendly blade of grass
The lazy beetle cowers;
The coffers of the air are filled
With offerings from the flowers.
And slowly buzzing o'er my head
A swallow wings her flight;
I hear the weary plowman sing
As falls the restful night.

Create an interview with a character from a favorite book. Incorporate at least five spelling words into your interview. An interview should include questions from the Interviewer and answers provided from the perspective of the character. Spelling words must be spelled correctly, underlined, and used correctly within the context of the interview. no links
Answer:
Interviewer: Good afternoon! Thank you for joining us today. Can you please introduce yourself to our audience?
Character: Hello, my name is Hermione Granger.
Interviewer: It's great to have you, Hermione! You are known for your intelligence and wit. How do you stay so knowledgeable about so many subjects?
Hermione: Well, I've always had a passion for learning. I read as much as I can, and I take meticulous notes. I also have a photographic memory, which helps me retain information.
Interviewer: That's impressive! I understand you are a skilled witch. What is your favorite spell?
Hermione: My favorite spell would have to be "Expecto Patronum." It's a spell that conjures a Patronus, a guardian that protects against dark creatures. It's a difficult spell to master, but it's very powerful.
Interviewer: That's fascinating! You've been on many adventures with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. What has been your most challenging experience?
Hermione: I would say our trip to the Ministry of Magic was the most challenging. We were trying to retrieve a prophecy that could potentially save our world. We had to battle Death Eaters and outsmart Ministry officials, all while trying to stay alive. It was a harrowing experience.
Interviewer: It sounds like it! Lastly, what advice would you give to young witches and wizards who are just starting to learn magic?
Hermione: My advice would be to work hard and practice, practice, practice! Magic can be unpredictable, so it's important to be prepared for anything. And don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.
Interviewer: Thank you so much for your time, Hermione! It's been a pleasure speaking with you.
Hermione: Thank you for having me. It's been lovely.

Dear fellow schools,
Whenever you tell us we have test, we all groan, well here's the thing you give out to much. Sorry just a fact. We have BOG's, Check-Ins [like 15]. We have to many especially with all the homework and other things we have to do. Some of us can't even focus because of things going on at home. Like we have other stuff to do. We don't have enough time to do homework, study for tests, and still do things required to do at home. It is not right for all of this to be put on our shoulders at such young ages. We'll have to work as adults so why do we have to learn now. Sure, as we progress throughout our school education we should learn how to task and plan ahead, but we all cant be like you expect us to be. Next time before you give tests think about it. Find out how much we know some other way.
Sincerely,
Your fellow students

If I were to ask a person what life was like when Genghis Khan ruled, what would he or she say?
Genghis Khan's contributions to the Mongol Empire extended beyond his military prowess. He enacted a law making the Uyghur script the official writing system of the Mongol Empire.
Who was Genghis Khan?Genghis Khan is an honorific name that translates to "universal ruler" and is an aggrandization of the Mongolian term for a clan leader, Khan. The name "Genghis" is said to have originated from the Turkic word "tengiz," which means "sea," making the honorific title literally "oceanic ruler." Nevertheless, from a Mongol perspective, the phrase is more commonly viewed as a metaphor for the universality or wholeness of Temüjin's authority.
There is no established method for romanizing original Mongolian names into English; instead, a variety of ways are still in use today, leading to current spellings that frequently diverge significantly from the pronunciation. Due to the early sources' significant geographic and language disparity, historians have had difficulty collecting and comprehending them completely.
