Why did the ruler of the Mongol Empire decide to adopt certain Chinese customs? He wanted the Chinese people to live among the Mongols, so he bridged the two cultures. He believed that Chinese customs were superior to those of the Mongolian people, so he adopted them. He thought that Chinese customs could help the Mongols conquer other parts of Asia, so he changed tactics. He understood that Mongolian customs might not be accepted in China, so he made compromises.

Answers

Answer: He understood that Mongolian customs might not be accepted in China, so he made compromises.

Explanation:

The Mongol Empire´s adoption of some Chinese customs was not because they wanted the Chinese people to live among the Mongols, nor did they believed that Chinese customs were superior to those of the Mongolian people, or more useful to conquer other parts of Asia.

It was because the adoption of those customs helped legitimize Mongol rule. In 1272, when Kublai Khan established the Yuan dynasty following the tradition of the Chinese dynasty, he integrated the official form of government into the traditional Chinese political succession process. He also claimed to be an emperor by observing the ceremonies of the Confucian tradition.

Explanation:

I don’t think you should ask me because I don’t know the answers I’m just trying to get more questions thank you

Answer:

While it seemed to me that any one of these could be the location for the “Lost City of Atlantis”,

I found the information on the South China Sea to be the most compelling, so I feel this is the  best candidate for the location for the following reasons:

1. The Atlantic Ocean was given its name because it is considered to be the “Ocean of the  Atlanteans” by Plato – who also believed that Atlantis was located in this ocean. Because  of this, any location outside of the Atlantic Ocean, including Santorini/Thera, could not  be the location – though at this point, Cuba is still in the running (www.atlan.org, n.d.).

2. Plato’s description of Atlantis spoke of the large network of canals at the city’s location.   He also spoke of the city as a naval power with multiple ships used for trading to other  countries.

a. Due to the small size of their naval forces at the time, Atlantis could not be  located in the Canaries or in Northwest Africa.

b. The Incas of Peru, while they had a strong naval fleet, they also had very little  water, which eliminates them from the list of possible locations (www.atlan.org,  n.d.).

3. Plato spoke of Atlantic being the home of two specific crops – rice and wheat or barley –  grows abundantly in the Far East. These crops are supported by a tropical climate and an  annual monsoon – much like we see in Asia today (Prassanan, n.d.).

4. Plato spoke of Atlantic having a large population, which knocks most proposed locations,  including Europe, North America, North Africa and the Near East, out of the running.   While the exact population of the Far East is difficult to estimate, it is estimated that Asia  produced between 10 and 20 million tons of rice each year, which could easily feed a  population of 15-30 million people (www.atlan.org, n.d.).

5. Plato believed that elephants were present on Atlantis. Elephants were found in great  numbers in South Asia. They did not exist during the later date of the theory that asserts  Thera as the location (www.atlan.org, n.d.).  While none of these reasons eliminate all other possibilities, leaving the South China Sea as the  only option, they do collectively eliminate the other locations and support this as the location of  the Lost City of Atlantis.

(2) It was common for African people to dispose of their assets by means of a will.

(3) Succession is a duty that cannot be relinquished or ceded.

(4) A distinction is made between general succession and special succession.

Answers

Answer:

3

Explanation:

Succession is a duty that cannot be relinquished or ceded.

Thus, the correct option is C.

What do you mean by Succession?

The process by which a region's species and habitat mix evolves over time is called ecological succession.

These communities gradually replace one another until a "climax community" is attained, such as a mature forest, or until a disruption, such as a fire, happens. A key idea in ecology is ecological succession.

Even in societies at their peak or in maturity, succession can occur. For instance, when a tree falls in an established forest, sunlight may once more be able to penetrate the forest floor, allowing new growth to start.

In this instance, fresh, smaller plants would be the first in the succession. Communities are ever-evolving and expanding.

The ecological succession has a lot of advantages. For example, it leads to greater biodiversity, enhanced soil nutrient availability, organic material recycling, and a more favorable habitat for other creatures to occupy, which boosts their number.
