For example:

"is the supervisor" -> supervises"was the initiator" -> initiated"is the owner" -> owns"is responsible for conducting" -> conducts

In other cases, the verb "to be" will not be present, but the verb is still considered weak.

Take sentence 8 as an example. The use of "has" is not as strong as "owns".
