There may be multiple reasons why you need to replace the certificate in Webconfig. For example, you may want to use a purchased certificate from a Trusted CA and not use the free, self-signed certificate that come by default on ClearOS. Or perhaps you want to change some of the robustness of the certificate to exclude or perhaps include an alternate encryption method.

This howto will demonstrate where the CA used by ClearOS is located and allow you to reinstall it with a new one.
