Follow these steps to create a snapshot of a running VM (the same procedure works on stopped VMs).

Select a Virtual Machine (running or not), then click on the Snapshot button.

The host server takes a snapshot of the Virtual Machine.

You now have a snapshot of your Virtual Machine.
