The purpose of this guide is to demonstrate, test, and document particulars for Samba Directory on ClearOS. This guide is current as of the release of ClearOS 7 Beta 1. Some of the information here can be applied to ClearOS 6 as well.

You will need to have a fresh install of ClearOS 7. Complete the wizard but don't install any extra apps.
